Keep it sealed and dry
Moisture is the main enemy of dried leaf. Keep kratom in an airtight container or the resealable bag it arrived in, and press out excess air before sealing. Avoid humid spots such as bathrooms or above a stove, and never store it damp. If you decant into another container, make sure it seals fully.
Away from heat and light
Heat and ultraviolet light both accelerate the breakdown of plant compounds over time. Keep kratom out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources — a cool, dark cupboard or pantry is ideal. A consistent room temperature is better than a spot that swings warm and cool through the day.
Original packaging is usually enough
